The World Journalism Education Census was created with the goal of conducting a census to try to identify every journalism education program that could be found worldwide. The results of this census reflect the spread of journalism education all over the world.

The purpose of the interactive Web site is to enable the growing number of students, scholars and educators around the world seeking information about journalism education to view information about individual programs in different regions of the world.
